The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking the Great Wall. The attention to detail from the friendly hosts was remarkable. They provided excellent service, offering to drive guests to and from the bus station and helping with organizing hikes. The delicious local meals prepared by the host's wife were a highlight of the stay. I can't wait to return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

We spent our New Year's holiday at this hotel and it was a great experience! the staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved that the hotel was just a short walk away from the beautiful wall, making it easy to hike and explore. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated the hot showers after a long day out. the food was delicious at the hotel restaurant. They offered a variety of dishes to choose from, including vegetarian options.

Spent New Year's with my partner at this cozy inn and it did not disappoint. The rooms were immaculate and had the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, even helping us organize a New Year’s Eve feast and lighting a bonfire for us to enjoy outside. The location was perfect - close enough to the Great Wall to enjoy a hike but far enough away from crowds. And the view of the surrounding countryside was stunning. We can’t wait to come back!

While we had an overall fantastic experience, there were a few minor issues with the plumbing which caused the shower to stall and the need to repeatedly let the water run. the lack of heavy curtains in the room allowed too much early morning light in, which may be an issue for some guests.

This rural inn provides a great stay for hiking to a quiet, unrestored section of the Great Wall. the friendly and helpful hosts provide delicious meals, easy access to watch the sunrise and sunset from the Wall, and can even drive guests to other parts of the Wall. the rooms have comfortable beds, are clean, and some have upgraded features like free-standing radiators.

The plumbing system in the inn may cause a bit of inconvenience as air locks may need to be cleared.

There was only one small issue during my stay, but it didn't affect my overall experience. It would have been convenient to have a 240v socket in the main bedroom to plug in the freestanding radiator.
